It is possible to enter the building and all its public areas with an assistance dog and a guide dog.<br\/>\n<br\/>\nInformation on the possibility of submitting an application for accessibility:<br\/>\nPursuant to Article 30 of the Act on Ensuring Accessibility for Persons with Special Needs (i.e. Journal of Laws 2022, item 2240), any person with special needs or his\/her legal representative, upon demonstration of factual interest, has the right to apply to the International Cultural Centre in Krakow (hereinafter: ICC) for architectural or information and communication accessibility in connection with the statutory activities of the ICC.<br\/>\n<br\/>\nThe application should include: contact details of the applicant, an indication of the barrier that hinders or prevents accessibility in terms of architecture or information and communication, an indication of how the applicant can be contacted, an indication of the preferred method of providing accessibility.<br\/>\n<br\/>\nThe completed form should be submitted in the manner of your choice: send to: dostepnosc@mck.krakow.pl<br\/>\n<br\/>\nsend by post to: International Cultural Centre Rynek G\u0142\u00f3wny 25, 31-008 Krak\u00f3w<br\/>\n<br\/>\nbring in person to the International Cultural Centre between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.<br\/>\n<br\/>\nA model of the application is available: <a href=\"https:\/\/mck.krakow.pl\/images\/upload\/zam%C3%B3wienia_publiczne\/wniosek_o_zapewnienie_dostepnosci_wz%C3%B3r.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a><br\/>\n<br\/>\nBUILDING ACCESS<br\/>\nThe access to the building has a required width of min. 1.5 m. No moving or fixed barrier elements. A small ramp leads to the entrance door. To the right of the door there is a video intercom suitable for people with mobility impairments, which can be used to summon a security guard.<br\/>\n<br\/>\nINDUCTION LOOPS<br\/>\nStation induction loops are installed in the building and are located in: Porterhouse Gallery &#8211; customer service station\/bookshop Library<br\/>\n<br\/>\nBARRIERS IN SPACE<br\/>\nThe vast majority of circulation routes in the building are barrier-free. The exceptions are: three steps leading to the cloakroom and two steps leading to the platform in the conference room (ground floor), two steps in the viewing conference room (fifth floor annexe), the stairs leading to the footbridge connecting the two parts of the building (third floor &#8211; main building\/fourth floor annexe).<br\/>\n<br\/>\nPERSONAL WINDOWS<br\/>\nAll other spaces are accessible from the ground\/ground level by two passenger lifts located in the main building and in the annexe. These can be used to access all usable floors i.e. Gallery, Library, and historic basement. There are appropriately sized manoeuvring spaces in front of the lifts.<br\/>\n<br\/>\nTOILETS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES<br\/>\nThere are three toilets for people with disabilities in the building (first floor &#8211; Gallery, ground floor &#8211; foyer of the Conference Hall, and Library &#8211; third floor of the annexe). They have the required size and manoeuvring space.<br\/>\n<br\/>\n<br\/>\nSUPPORT<br\/>\nDue to the considerable size of the building and the numerous passageways &#8211; the space can be difficult to navigate independently (especially for visually impaired and blind people). To this end, our staff provide support in moving around the building &#8211; please advise us of this need by approaching the gatehouse, which is located approximately 15m into the corridor, on the right-hand side. A guided path has been installed to help you reach the gatehouse, which starts behind the front door of the building.<br\/>\n<br\/>\nREST AREAS<br\/>\nIn spaces requiring significant distances to be covered (main entrance, hall), the building has rest areas: chairs (with armrests to make it easier to get up or change).<br\/>\n<br\/>\nTOTUPOINT<br\/>\nA navigation and information system, TOTUPOINT , has been installed in the building to aid the spatial orientation of visually impaired people. It consists of eight markers located in the building space, which, by emitting sound, inform the user of their position. A list of markers with descriptions of the space can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/totupoint.pl\/lokalizacje?expandedCity=Krak%C3%B3w&#038;%3BexpandedLocation=Mi%C4%99dzynarodowe+Centrum+Kultury%2C+Rynek+G%C5%82%C3%B3wny+25&#038;expandedLocation=Mi%C4%99dzynarodowe+Centrum+Kultury%2C+Rynek+G%C5%82%C3%B3wny+25\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"a11y-komunikacja\">\n<h3>\nCommunication and information accessibility<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>A Polish Sign Language interpreter is available at the ICC.
