The bilingual Polish-English album accompanying the exhibition \u201cLaughing with one eye, crying with the other\u201d is a comprehensive publication (312 pages) that is a unique guide to contemporary Romanian art. It presents a selection of works from the collection of Ovidiu \u015eandor, one of the most important private collections of contemporary art in Central and Eastern Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The album includes introductory texts and essays by prominent authors such as Adriana Babe\u0163i, \u0141ukasz Galusek Kazimierz Jurczak, Jakub Kornhauser, Diana Marincu, Tom Sandqvist, Vladimir Tism\u0103neanu, which analyze the history and contemporary faces of the Romanian avant-garde and art after the political transformation.
