The craftsmanship of nature was shown in all its glory in our last year’s “Plants and Animals” exhibition, now presented at the Wilanów Palace. To the collector’s posters prepared at that time, we are adding collector graphics created on the basis of the “Urformen der Kunst” photo book presented at the MCK Gallery at the exhibition “More than Bauhaus. Interwar German photography and Polish traces”.
Iconic photos were created as a didactic help for classes conducted by Blossfeldt at the Berlin School of Arts and Crafts. In nature, he saw an unsurpassed design teacher who created purposeful forms, best serving the life needs of plants, and at the same time extremely beautiful.
Karl Blossfeldt was the first who show beauty that comes from itself. Perfect forms created without human participation. By itself. In which nature surpasses all art that, even the most ingenious, remains artificial.
Three collector’s graphics in the format 39.5 × 29.5 cm, printed on Mohawk Superfine Eggshell i-Tone Ultra White white matt, 324 g / m2.
A set of three graphics for PLN 65 is available for sale (with shipment within the territory of Poland).
